  The West Bengal Societies Registration Act, 1961 [West Bengal Act XXVI of 1961] [5 th December, 1961 An Act to provide for the registration of literary, cultural, scientific, political, charitable, religious and certain other kinds of societies and for matters connected therewith. It is hereby enacted in the Twelfth Year of the Republic of India, by the Legislature of West Bengal, as follows: 1.
